SUKHOI SU-37 Panel (beta) for FS2000 Only

Thank you for taking the time to download my SU-37 panel for FS2000.
This panel is suitable for twin engined, 5th (& 4-1/2th!) generation Russian Jet fighters.

NOTE: This is a beta release. There are a few "known issues" concerning this panel. Please read the Flight Manual Before flying - esp. the "known issues" section.

Additionally, the panel has been designed with "hot" buttons and switches throughout. Using the shift# keys will mess up the layout. You will get the most fun out of this panel if you follow the procedures in the Flightmanual. Included is an explanation of where the access buttons are and what they do.

Installation.

1. You will require all three zip files for this panel to work.
2. Unzip file 1of3.

Contents.
4 folders (directories) - Berkut tactical Bitmap
- Panel
- Sound
- Docs
Readme
File ID

Panel Directory.

1. Open your FS2000 directory. C/Program files/Microsoft games/FS2000/aircraft

2. Open the directory of the plane you want to use the panel in.

3. Rename the existing panel directory (folder) "Panel.old"
(right click on it and select "rename")

4. Now just drag the panel directory from 1of3 to the directory of the relevant plane.

There should now be 5 folders in the aircraft directory - model
panel
panel.old
sound
texture

5. Sound: Open this directory in 1of3. You will see one .wav file.
Drag this into your FS2000 sound folder

C/Program files/Microsoft games/FS2000/sound

(That's the main FS2000 sound directory - NOT the sound directory of the plane!!!!)

Now unzip 2of3 Contents: Zip file "gauges"

6. Unzip this straight into your gauges directory

C/Program files/Microsoft games/FS2000/gauges

You can overwrite any existing gauges if prompted. I have renamed any gauges I have changed, so you will not lose anything.

7. Unzip 3of3
Contents: Zip file "More gauges"
(sorry, theres a lot of gauges in this panel!)

Unzip this straight into your gauges directory, as per 6.

8. Read the Flight manual (in the docs folder); especially the "known issues" and hot key positions.

9. Go flying!

Option: Berkut Tactical Bitmap

If you are using Ralph Pegram's S-37 Berkut, you might like to use this alternative tactical bitmap in your panel. (it has the correct configuration pictures for that plane). To install it, just open the newly installed panel directory and rename "Tactical array" as
"Tactical array.SU37".
Then drag the file "Berkut Tactical" into that panel directory and rename it "Tactical array".

Email me if -

- you have any problems that are not covered in the docs
- if you like the panel

If I get enough emails I will consider upgrades in the future

DO NOT email me with questions on issues that are covered in the manual. I will not reply to emails from people who can't be bothered reading the instructions.

Happy landings -
